We undertake level 3 building surveys providing a comprehensive analysis of the property. These pre-acquisition surveys are the most detailed surveys Chartered Surveyors offer and are suitable for all types of residential and commercial properties – particularly older, extended or converted buildings.
The survey will assess if the property is structurally sound, identify any significant repair needs and whether maintenance costs are going to be high.
We understand that purchasing a property is a major investment. Our survey report is designed to inform you of any serious defects enabling you to negotiate repairs or the price reduction prior to purchase. In some cases, the survey will prevent making a costly or ill-advised purchase.
As part of the survey, we can also review proposed alterations you are considering post purchase and provide high level guidance on their feasibility, including any further considerations.
